At a young age, all would-be comic creators spend hours at home, crafting their passionate thoughts, scribbles & sketches.
In the professional world however, this isn’t a true reality. The majority of comics and graphic novels published are created by TEAMS - Writers for that all important concept with characterisations, Pencilers who breath visual life into an idea, Inkers to ensure better image clarity & printing capability, Colourists/Tonists for finished visual enhancements, Letterers so we can fully receive a story’s message, and Page Make-Up Artists who greatly ensure the books can be printed accurately and without technical mistake.
And beyond all of this, we must never forget... The Editors - It’s our job to ensure all of the above happens in the best way possible.
And this is the essence of IGNITE!
